From Munich: Highway via Rosenheim to Salzburg, then in the direction of Vienna (Wien) until the Thalgau exit. Follow the signs along the main road to Hof, continue to St. Gilgen and to Strobl. In Strobl, leave B 158 toward St. Wolfgang. After 4.5 km you find Landhaus zu Appesbach to the left.
